5.8.03 mike and i had our 6th and (hopefully) final ultrasound today. according to the ultrasound technician, the lowest part of the placenta is 4 centimeters away from my cervix and in his opinion, not an issue. of course, he's not our doctor (or even *a* doctor) and we'll see what our doctor says when we visit her on monday.we also learned that the baby now weighs 4 lbs, 10 oz (he said this is give or take a pound in either direction, but i think this weight is pretty accurate because it exactly coincides with what the books think she now weighs). there's plenty of amniotic fluid, and the baby's head down and on her right side with her knees pulled up to her chest. he showed us her heart, her head, her kidneys, her bladder, and a cute little femur bone. again, he confirmed she's a girl. :) we have 4 pictures of her which we'll post soon. as we suspected and feared she appears to be "all forehead," which she gets from both me and mike. sorry, baby! xoxo mary [mary @ marytsao.com] |
