I think three kids is the hardest number, because you start playing zone defense. After that, it's like my mom always said: "Another kid, you just put on another potato."

got plans for december 3, 2004? if all goes according to plan (ha!), mike and i will be welcoming our second child into the world that day.
here are some FAQs:
how many weeks pregnant are you?
i will be 15 weeks pregnant tomorrow.
wow. how do you feel about this?
i think the hidden question here is, was this planned? the answer is yes, and we feel excited and happy.
how far apart will they be?
17 months and some change.
are you going to find out the sex?
much to my mother's chagrin, we are going to wait to find out the sex.
how do you feel?
i feel great right now. i felt crappy 4 weeks ago, but now i'm in the "honeymoon" phase of my pregnancy. things will get hard again around september/october when my belly is 5 times the size of my head, my feet only fit into bedroom slippers, and i'm up every night with heartburn.
are you showing yet?
i think i started showing at the moment of conception. yesterday i packed up all of my non-maternity clothes and hung up my maternity clothes. sigh. i guess the answer is yes.
do you have any cravings?
yes! at least every other day i have a mixing bowl-sized salad of mixed greens drizzled with extra virgin olive oil, a sprinkling of red wine vinegar, and a liberal application of salt and pepper. yum.
will this be your last?
4 weeks ago my answer was YES! now that i feel better my answer has changed to we'll see...
xoxo
