today another chapter in my life closes as i go about the business of selling my beloved motorcycle. *sniff*



i priced the bike to sell and posted it on craigslist this morning. so far i've received 15 phone calls and 12 emails. the first guy who called will get first dibs; he's coming over this afternoon to look at it. he's a fool if he doesn't buy it.

farewell, my friend! i'll feel better knowing that you're being ridden...

emily update: don't laugh, but i've decided to teach emily how to put her dirty clothes into the hamper. i think she's getting the hang of it. she needs lots of prompting and she prefers to take off down the hallway waving the dirty garment around her head, but if i guide her back to the hamper she'll drop it in. then we both clap. she's so cute!

pregnancy update: we went in this morning for our ultrasound. the baby's huge! well, not big enough to come out, but no longer able to fit in one cute picture. we have a few random shots of legs, boy parts, an arm, a nose. i'll post something soon. in general, the kid looks great, moves around a lot, and is definitely healthy. not sure how my placenta checks out; the doctor will call us with the official results.
